In its current exhibition, Schaumbad – Freies Atelierhaus Graz approaches the connection between closeness and dependency, comfort gain and loss of control. For the term dependence mostly suggests a connection with intoxicants and substance-induced addictive behavior. And negotiates an image of »the others« who are apparently »not strong or disciplined enough« to arrange themselves.The artists invited into the bubble bath rather approach that moment that carries the seeds of loss of control in everyday situations and arrangements. Just as the blessings of the digital world make our lives easier, fossil fuels fuel our dreams of prosperity and convenience. Entire armies are programming the expansion of the digital division of labor: from the smart home to the self-driving car to the algorithm-driven maid. B.R.White aka ROK aka Ricardo Diabolo (RixxxD) aka bürgerlich Roman Klug. B.R. White ist das Pseudonym Roman Klugs für all seine musikalischen Aktivitäten. Seine Auseinandersetzung mit „Black Music“ kommt aus der Entdeckung des Hip-hops mit Anfang Zwanzig. Seitdem verzweigt, verästelt und vermehrt sich fortlaufend seine Liebe. Seine Leidenschaft gilt dem tanzbaren, „ungeraden“ Beat. Einem Beat, der nicht auf der 1 betont wird, der synkopiert und poly-rhythmisch daherkommt. Sonidero "Supa Minibabybalu"

Sonidero “Supa Minibabybalu” bringt euch Musik aus dem Süden Amerikas nach Graz. Genauer gesagt spielt er eine Auswahl der feinsten Cumbia die es auf der Welt gibt. Die Cumbia vermischt vielschichtige Rhytmusstrukturen afrikanischen Ursprungs mit spanisch und indigene beeinflussten Melodien und lyrischen Formen. 

Wenn die Cumbia eines kann ist es die Freude am Leben und an der Musik mit andern zu teilen. Weil eines ist klar, Liebe wird nicht weniger wenn du sie teilst.
